French artist Julia Lanoë, aka Rebeka Warrior, has been making music for over 15 years and seems to have had a thousand careers. Author, composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and founder of Warriorecords, a record label that promotes experimental work on sound and poetry, Rebeka Warrior is involved in a wide range of projects and collaborations across all styles. From progressive chanson with Mansfield.TYA to electroclash with Sexy Sushi and Berlin-style techno with Kompromat, where she teams up with Vitalic, the multifaceted artist is at home everywhere, including the film industry, for which she composes soundtracks. Deliberately provocative, her smooth voice contrasts sharply with the crudeness of her lyrics, in which she tackles sexual, political and social themes without taboo. But the stage remains her home. After hundreds of live shows in France and abroad, her desire and energy is still as strong as ever – which promises a surprising and fascinating show, driven by a fierce determination to get the whole dancefloor grooving!
