This Association brings together nearly one hundred members who support the Festival, its project and artistic direction. Representing the diversity of the public, the members are committed in a supportive and active manner to the organising team and the Foundation’s Board. 

Advantages of joining the Friends of La Bâtie Association
- Preview of the Festival programme in June
- Meeting with Management for a discussion on the past event, and the next one in November
- The possibility to support a show with a meeting with the artists*
- The opportunity to apply to be part of La Bâtie’s Foundation Board
- A welcoming platform to meet and exchange ideas with other performing arts enthusiasts during the Festival and throughout the year
- Cultural activities (shows, meetings, meals, etc.) organised all year round by and for the members
- Throughout the year, the possibility to benefit from preferential offers from the association’s partner theatres, according to their availability

* The membership fees of the Friends of La Bâtie are used, among other things, to support a Festival show every 2 or 3 years. More information will be sent directly to the Friends for the 2023-2024 season.

How to join?
There are two options: 

1. Join the Association with the Friends’ card (CHF 110 per theatre season, September - August)
   You will receive a “Friend” card from the Festival which grants access to preferential offers from the Friends of la Bâtie partner venues, provides the advantages of membership mentioned above as well as the same favours granted to holders of a Bâtie-Festival de Genève festival pass, namely:

• One ticket at the Festivalgoer rate (from CHF 7) per event, subject to availability

• Free access to the central venue, subject to availability

2. Joining the Association (CHF 30 per calendar year)
   You will receive a “Friend” card from the association which grants access to preferential offers from the Friends of la Bâtie’s partner venues and provides the advantages of membership mentioned above.

In both cases, the card must be kept throughout the year. It will be your pass for the partnerships.
Membership is valid for one theatre year, from September 2023 to the end of August 2024.
Friends are asked to pay their membership fee by 15 August 2023 at the latest to ensure receipt of the pass in time for the start of the Festival.

In order to obtain your “Friend” card, please send the following information and documents to amis@batie.ch:
- Full contact details MUST be provided (surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone)*
- Copy of the payment of the membership fee of CHF 30 or CHF 110 made before 15 August (postal receipt or confirmation of bank transfer)
- Passport size photograph (for all new registrations made between 1 July and 15 August 2023) 

*Please note that new members who do not provide their postal address and e-mail address will not be able to receive the card by post, nor any other information related to their registration!
